what if it works out?

blog by Kyunghee Kim

What is your take on pro and con lists? For most of us, we lean heavily on the con list. Whatever it takes, we convince ourselves there is more to fear, more reasons it can’t work out, more reasons why we shouldn’t even start. So of course, it makes sense we end up not doing it. But, what if we leaned towards the pro list?

What if you shifted your gaze to asking yourself “What awesome things can come from it working out?” Your answers might be financial stability, or joy, or even just the thought of saying out loud to yourself “I did it.”

What decision might you make if you focused on it working out rather then it not working out?

The brain needs training. You have to tell it what to think. Next time you have a big or any important decision to make, make a PRO list and not a pro/con list and see what happens.
